We just realized there are a lot of parents who do not yet know we have been producing Big Kids (adult) tees since 2010. It started when some very loyal fans (who have become friends) clamored for tees to match with their kids. Bright idea!

You’ve probably seen some photos on the blog. Of kooky kids with their dads or moms. Wearing their matching shirts. Or a set of cousins happily sporting the same shirt print.

On Gia’s birthday, I wore the Gorilla & Stripes tee. A few days after, we saw mompreneur Rone Guerrero of Mothering Earthlings don the Horse & Stripes print on a day out with her boys. Heehee!

If you are interested, Big Kids tees are available on pre-order thru audrey at googooandgaga dot com. Any design can be printed on matching tees and production takes just two weeks, at least.

Kooky Kid : Megan Ilao

It’s the start of what we smell as another fast-paced, errand-filled, but otherwise fabulous week! We have presentations and meetings, a family photo shoot, and Gabe’s school enrollment. Sometimes, I wonder how we can get through a week full of adult activities and still have enough time to sit down with the little ones to create trees and butterflies out of play dough, bring them to playdates, or read stories over and over and over before bedtime. Often, I am pooped by early afternoon. The kids, however, are like energizer bunnies, endlessly moving around, getting distracted, keeping US distracted! Where do they find the energy?

Remember cute, little Megan? Well, now we know how she keeps her batteries charged! ;) Mom Tintin says : On Megan’s 3rd Birthday, we let her do what she does best: keep us on our toes! We let her ride her bike, run, jump and slide. After an hour in Active Fun, We let her loose in BHS. She has this thing about putting things in their rightful place. So when she sees rocks on the walkways, she moves them to the sides where all the other rocks are. To cap the day, we let her eat all the mini m&m donuts she wanted. Weee SUGAR RUSH!!!

How We Spent Easter As A Family

During the Holy Week break, every year, we trek to AJ’s aunt’s family beach house in DIngalan, Aurora. We look forward to this 5-day vacation all the time. The bonding that happens each year gets better. We either have new babies or the older kids get bigger, hence they are easier to manage and are able to enjoy the outdoors more. Which further means us, the parents, have more time relaxing and meditating, chatting and catching up.

So. This is how we spent Easter this year. In pictures.

We posed.

We beat each other in Monopoly Deal.

We painted, stamped, and crafted.

We jogged.

And threw pebbles into the sea.

We swam.

And tried to fight the waves.

We hunted for bright, colorful eggs.

And posed some more.

Easter is always happy and memorable. After all, time spent with family, no matter what we do, is always time well spent.

We hope YOUR Easter memories are, likewise, well worth keeping.

The past weeks have been very hectic with pre-school evaluations, season collection launches, Holy Week, school graduations, the summer heat (!!!), and all the little things that make up our every day. Thought we could all use a nice send off for this week.

Mom Therese writes : As early as now, this little boy Nate has shown nothing but good traits. He isn’t fussy and is always gracious to people who talk to him. He seems very curious about everything around him. I’ve always wanted him to go places, hence having a bit of obsession with the hot air balloon. I will make sure he travels the world and continue to be curious about the different cultures that he comes across.

Gorgeous new mom, Donna, writes about her bambino : Alessio loves music. His taste ranges from classical to whatever dance-able tune. He cries when we don’t have any music on. Now at almost 5 months old, he’s been trying to move his body in sync with the music and giggles when he does.

He’s curious and wants to explore. He loves car rides and stares out the window with eyes wide open. He also likes taking walks everywhere in his Babbo’s or Mommy’s arms. He loves “talking” to people, specially girls! He’s not shy at all and expresses his delight with shrieks and coos.

AJ’s inspiration for these simply came from old school analog video games. The girls’ design is composed of colorful pixels exploding into a heart (Cupids) and the boys’ design is easily connected to Space Invaders but with a play on hitting hearts instead (Heartbreakers).
